The Italian Enel sold to Veolia Water (Veolia Environnement) 100% of the share capital of Enel Hydro (which includes Enel’s water operations in Calabria and the province of Latina) and 20% of Idrosicilia, which operates large scale water treansportation activities in Sicily. This purchase is worth €36m. Enel and Veolia agreed a put and call option for the 40% remaining Enel’s stake in Idrosicilia.
