SPDE plans later to apply for ISO certification for data collection. Member companies would make available to local authorities their engineering/financial simulation tools, and their knowledge of new materials and construction techniques. The commitment will be formalised in the water company contracts, with provision for review every five years in the light of the most appropriate performance indicators among those recommended by the outsourced management institute IDG (and approved by the government water department). The SPDE offer follows on from the pipe-making industry trade federation Canalisateurs de France signing a partnership agreement in 2002 with Credit Agricole bank and the national public works federation FNTP. Renewed up to the coming November, the agreement provides for the dispensing of information on the water supply assets and special credit facilities from Credit Agricole.Click here to visit water supply french companies website. To join the editorial team of Hydroplus, click here.Click here to contact SPDE by e-mail.
