Far East showed the greatest sales growth of 17 p.c., Western Europe the lowest by 2%. For the German KSB, the strongest growth was once again registered in the Asian countries, driven by the oil and gas business. In the first semester, the volume of orders increased by 14.3% up to e760.4m, while sales revenues gained 12.8% to e644.6m. Within the pipes’ sector, the Dutch Wavin showed an increased in net sales (+25.7%) up to e633.2m, while operating profit reached e46.1m (+39.7%). Changing its shareholder structure, Wavin is negociating a new e850m refinancing facility to fund the transaction.
